The front nine comes to a close with a mid-length Par 4 that offers a generous fairway for the shorter hitter but narrows for the mid to long hitters so the decision to thread between the bunker and mound or play short needs to be made. The green is well guarded by deep bunkers at the front as well as a false front so any shot not carrying to the front of the green runs the risk of rolling back down the slope leaving a tricky chip and putt to save par.
